Looks like a great boat and should please A LOT of unsatisfied Malibu and MC owners, as well as Correct Craft fans looking for an OB tournament boat. Very well done!

I didn't know there were many disgruntled owners of Bu & MC...the MC owners I know seem to be quite loyal and vocal.

(staying on topic) what features do you see here that are absent with Bu (I am very unfamiliar with) and MC?

Similar yet different. Not the automatically identifiable look of the 196.

After seeing that picture, the hull on the Malibu looks really deep. I wonder what the draft is on the Malibu and the new SN 200. Or at least the transom of the boats. Both the drafts are 22", and by the way the boats in the picture are representative of their actual size, so you can use the picture for comparison.

I didn't say there are A LOT of disgruntled owners. I am saying this boat should please A LOT of the disgruntled owners, feelin' me?

Anywho, CC seems to have lacked aggresive styling, open bow tournament capabilities and storage, all of which appear to be addressed in the 200. Hopefully you still get the CC quality, wake and tracking.

              Right on chief...

I'm most excited about the OB...from the video it seems they dropped the trunk storage (I liked the trunk). Looks like they have teak on the gunnels? That spells high maintenance to me...wish I could see pics to know for sure.

Remove the teak and replace with plastic, exactly what they did in 1990 LOL.

MC owners are loyal for sure, even with all the crappy hull designs and recalls.

Most Malibu owners seem to be happy with their boats too, I really just don't like driving them.

I'm not wild about the gel lines personally. Like Joe, I've always gravitated toward the look of the traditional center stripe and agree that, in that respect, it looks a little like the RLXI. Interested to see one up close for sure. Too bad they didn't have the closed bow version in the video as well (or if it was that black and yellow one, then for more than a few seconds). Gives me the sinking feeling that a closed bow version of this boat will be about as common of a sight as a MC 190 is after 7 years of the 197.

In shape and running attitude, the boat looks very much like the previous gen RLXi to me. Im not crazy about the gel lines either- hopefully a traditional scheme is still available. Overall not a terrible looking boat, but we need to see pics! Hopefully the closed bow gets a 2-piece windshield and other details that differentiate it from the OB. I too would hate to see the CB disappear like the 190 has.

That yellow/black closed bow in the video looks like the 50th Masters 196.

Wondering if they even built a closed bow prototype yet, as if you freeze the video its quite apparent that the black and yellow one that they hide all but the nose on is the Masters boat. When they are running down the lake side by side you get a good representation of how the new one runs more nose down in the water. I like the idea of the full side storage in lieu of the locker, but wonder how accesible it is and how it opens in relationship to the motor cover. If that is really teak on the gunnels I hope there are alternative options.

i'd take a closed bow any day. Open bow tome is like a mini van.

From the breif view of the video I love the style of the 200 looks fantastic running down the course and alot less spray from the side of the boat compared to my 07 ski atleast. Interior once again looks very innovative... storage compartments ontop of the gunnels??? and it looks like the combings inside the boat may hinge to reveal more storage options? The interior look is old school to me and i LIKE IT. Anyone for an 07 SE only 10 hours?

I've grown very fond of the closed bow boats we are skiing behind but fact of the matter is open's sell better. If the open does as they say in the video and skis the exact same, most promo 200's will probably be open bow. Within in a few years the ratio of SN open to closed could end up going the way of the 190/197.

I have had the priveledge to drive the SN 200. This is an awesome riding boat the encompasses everything needed for the rider and driver..... that is not teak on the back it is a new foam no slip grip they came out with this year. it comes standard in gray and the teak look is optional. the boat handles like a dream and is easy to spot it through the course. the storage in the back is great and at night when you cut the courtesy lights on SKI NAUTIQUE shows through the fiberglass. completely new hull design has more lift therefore minimizing the wake and new cut outs toward the front to direct the spray down under the boat. overall great boat. and the linc system this year is amazing. good job Correct Craft!!
