Colored Swim Platform

Hello All! Well, it looks like I was a year too early...since they started doing colored platforms this year. I wanted to try and see if there is any way to get a gloss black fiberglass swim platform for my 08' 210 without having to buy a brand new one straight from a dealer and then having two.

Ideally it would be nice if I could find someone ordering a brand new solid white 210 or another color, that would order a gloss black platform that I could switch with, but I know that is a longshot. I was going to switch it up with my dealer on a stock boat like that, but it has since been sold and I am out of luck. Does anyone have any ideas?

try to sell you current platform to someone looking to upgrade from a teak. Then you have some cash to buy a new black one. Seems like the least invasive.

I had a black platform on my '03 210. It looked great, but you really do have to be careful to keep it scratch-free.

First weekend we had our new boat with the fiberglass platform we banged it up pretty good. We got a couple cuts in the surface and a couple dings in the back from a surf board. If you are going to wakeboard or surf a lot be prepared to have it scratched up.

Yeah I am prepared for the scratches and such, but my crew also knows how anal I am about my boat and they really treat it as if it were their own. I know that some things are going to happen, but the white platform that I have now is all but flawless after two years. Anyone else with any suggestions? Anyone wanna trade? LOL!

I just had a clear coat protectent put on my red swim deck, along the edges to help protect from dings and scratches. Cost $80 to cover all the edges. Haven't used it since then so not sure how much it will help. I'll let you know more after I've been out a time or two.
