    gearing up for trip..

What do you guys usually take with you on a 10 day trip? I'm gearing up and want to make sure I'm prepared...

    Serp belts
    Tool box
    Jack
    Spare Prop
    Extra Amp
    Fuses
    Extra Impellar

This spring I changed oil and tranny fluid, impellar, and redid some wiring. Just wanted to see what you 'uns brought... I've heard tell of getting a trailer lock and whatnot...

Don't forget a flashlight and a block of wood (you never know what you need it for)!

          RE: gearing up for trip..

Last time a young lady jumped out of the lake into the drivers seat to change the radio while we were chilling in the cove at the houseboat. Shortly after her comment "Wow - your boat even has foot warmers!!!" (Amp was up under the steering wheel on the drivers side) there was a puff of smoke and no more tunes... Now I carry an extra APX480M.
Got the Anchor, but I always take that with me. Set on Towels and clothes. Flashlights always go. Block of wood's a good idea-r.

Jumper cables are always in my truck, along with some ratchet tie downs. I'd pack some extra electrical connetions in my toolbox along with some shrink tubing.

                dont forget the duct tape!

Hahahaha... I always forget something. I got the spare, use 4x4's for the chocks... hmmm... I'm thinking I'm pretty good, but I really need to get a trailer lock. I think the one that goes on top of the ball is pretty good way to go, though.

What's the garden hose for? I usually try to bring some extra bumpers, too. Rope to tie up with, hmm...

4 way lug nut wrench. My trailer is different from my tow rig...

Good call on the bumpers and mooring lines. Throw the prop puller in too. Also, depending on how far you are driving, a set of wheel bearings and a seal. Also an electrical test light would be good...much handier than a volt meter.
