Where do you store your paddle or oar

I have a 02 SANTE and i need a place to store a paddle or Oar. I have a wood one i can cut the handle down. Any ideas. I have a belly hard tank so that option is gone.

She sits in the passenger seat - backs the trailer to the ramp when the day is done.

She's small but she's strong - first kid come out sideways, she didn't scream or nuthin.

What's a paddle? Never had one or reason to use.

Ha. The greatest comedy of all time. The people train runs out of St-St-Stubbsville....

I believe a lot of states require a paddle. I am not sure if MN is one of them, but I never have one. I have had to use a kneeboard once as an oar, and last year, I ran out of gas and my wife and I had to swim our Mustang to shore about 1500 feet. Would have liked a paddle then.

In a SAN, I would think you could stick in a rear locker and run the handle up the gunnel side a bit.

Storage- that's what a closed bow is for.

Required in CA. I put mine under the gunnel on the port side. I wedge the flat part of the paddle between the drink holder area and the carpeted side of the hull doesn't move around there, and it's out of the way. BKH

I like to keep the paddle & anchor both handy, because when you realize that you need them (fending off a dock or wall, engine quit & you're drifting) you don't want to have to be digging. I keep the paddle just behind the drivers seat & the anchor right in fron of the observer's seat (2001).

After using a wakeboard as a paddle for the past couple of years (it doesn't work very well) I tracked down the collapsible one at wally world (hate that place) Thanks for the heads up! I never would have stored a full size one in the boat....

The paddle does not work well. I used a ski once with better luck and a couple swimmers was more efficient.

really, swimming the boat is more effective, although a paddle is required here, I believe, and I always have one up under there.

I use to put mine in the cutout(under the grab bar) on the port side .. it would just slide in along the gunnel area. I never needed it but had one just in case. I was asked to see one when being pulled over by the lake ranger here in Texas.
