Does anyone have a picture of the rear storage areas on a SAN with the FLAT TANKS? I would like to see how much more space is available with the flat tanks versus the wedge tanks (which I have). I might be interested in trading with someone who has the flat tanks, if anyone is so inclined.

Jeff:
With the flat tanks, there is substantial room left in the rear compartments. I'm pretty sure that I can fully fill a fat buddy in the compartment and still close the lid. I'm out of town right now, but I'll shoot some photos when I return.

Is it also possible that somebody post some pics of the wedge tanks? Just to compare the tanks.. Also, what is approx the maximum size of board to be stored in the rear with the wedge/flat tanks.
We own a SuperSport with some bags and we can store even a surfboard in the back.230 with ZR6 running on propane

I dont feel you gain anymore storage if you are talking about wakeboard storage with the flat tanks. If you are tossing vests etc you will gain some room but not much. Just my opinion. Just another note: You can now get bags that are made to conform to the tapered tanks to give even more ballast if necessary. I know I am looking forward to this for weighting the boat for surfing.

I can fit my four year old's 119cm board on the Port side compartment only. The Starboard side has a bulkhead.

The bags are made by Barefoot International and are new. They come with the new trick fill valve and are made for the Correct Craft wedge tanks in the locker. Also no more of using that blue water bed fitting. You might also have to purchase a pump that has the same guick release fitting to fill the bags. They can be ordered in Black, Red, Blue, Yellow and Gray. Mid Ohio Nautiques has these on order and will be stocking them as well as many other new products.
lcap - We have the Nautique carpet protector in stock for the Air 210. The carpet color is gray.

mike-d,
Are those 440 lb. sacs the rectangular ones? If so, did you just take them out of the covers? I have the same sacs for my Super Sport and I was thinking of taking the sacs out of the covers because it's kind of a pain to keep everything lined up. Do the sacs seem to hold up alright without the covers?
Also, one other thing. When I try to empty those sacs I always have a decent amount of water left in the bottom (this is with a hand aerator pump). It seems like those sacs have some type of divider in them and it makes the sacs hard to drain completely. Do you have any problems with this? What kind of pumps do you have hooked up to them right now. . .simers? If so, do you hook them up to the bottom holes on the sacs and do they drain pretty well like that?
Sorry for all the questions and thanks for any help.2008 Super Air Nautique 210TE

tanks, sacks
Justin,
yes, they are the 440's straight line sacks without the cumbersome covers, they were more of a hassle on than off.
I had the covers off for the whole season, no problems, they seem to be heavy duty, just make sure there are no pointed objects in the back when filling.
My skilocker sack and two rear bags are plumbed using one simer pump and a series of valves, they fill in about ten to 20 minutes, empty even quicker when the motor is rev'd. Yes, the rear bags are plumbed into the rear drain, vented out the thru hull from one of the top fill holes.
I set up a buddy's super this past summer using the 440's with aerators to fill and aerators plumbed to the bags to empty, hadnt had any issues yet. What are your bags doing? are they vented? In order to empty well the bags should be vented, if your using the aerators.
let me know.
Mike
