Which tow rig looks better?

My wife says her yukon xl looks better than my pickup with the boat attached? I call bs on that... They both tow better than anything this side of a diesel dumptruck, just curious as to what everyone else thinks?

Boat- 2007 236 TE, Z5,ZR6, extra 1,500 lb ballast.

Both Trucks- AWD 6.2 409 HP, 6 speed.... Gets 30 mpg....

Makes me a little sick.... Your setup (Boat and both trucks) Cost more than my House! And I'm gonna be paying for 10 years yet to pay it off. Sick looking setup tho.

I call BS on that, my 5.3L Suburban gets 20. Do you have the 4/8 cylinder engine?

I'm definitely a truck guy. Do you get better gas mileage with one or the other? One should have an aerodynamic advantage and the other should have a weight advantage.

I will be one week late? My family actually has a place there and we go every year. We go the same week as the Oshkosh fly in every year(I am a pilot). It is such an awesome place. Worth the tow from Texas to get out of this Africa hot heat we have.


I will say that her rig (Yukon XL) actually tows a little better due to the coil vs leaf spring. She has auto load in the rear(gotta a be a joke there) However, I like my truck better. Mine is an '09, her's is an '07

I was on the fence getting a Tundra when I got my truck, and I thought that they just rode a little too rough. Plus, they didnt have the color combinationswithout a 12 week wait and no dealing. I got 15K off sticker on the pickup. The 3/4 ton's and above were just out of the question. I have to go to the airport and parking garages all the time, so those would not work for me. Thanks for all your responses!

Just get another boat to make make both trucks happy! A new SN200 would look sick behind either! Sweet rigs either way, but I'm a 'burb guy - with a current touch of jealousy!

Very nice. I have to say the truck, though, because I'm a truck guy. I went with the Tundra, coming out of a Chevy. Hate to say it, but I love that Tundra. I needed four doors (new baby) and the Chevy's were too much cash with the full four for me. I like paying cash. Nice rides, though!
