    210 Surfing questions

I have a friend with a Tige 21V and the TAPS system. He is able to surf both side of the boat equally and he does it without putting any additional weight in the boat. We had 7 people and the TAPS set. It is cool to surf both side, cross the hump or ride the hump. All I have ever been able to do is surf one side mostly the starboard being I ride right foot forward.

Anyone set up their 210 to do this and how? Comment and PICS

He gives me crap about having to fill water in and out of the boat and all he has to do is move a switch. Tige's still look like Shamu!!!

    RE: 210 Surfing questions

I looked at Tige's at the Houston Boat Show last week and noticed they changed to PCM engines.

There were some nice boats in the collection.

    I hope I don't get booted.

      RE: 210 Surfing questions

I have a 08 210 you can surf either side but not at the same time. I just added fat sacs in the rear lockers
[400 lbs each] and even with both filled and 5 on board the wake was washed out. If any one has been able
to surf both sides let me know how.

You guys ever seen a video of spine surfing? That looks like a lot of fun, but man would I be nervous with two boats that close together.

They need to come up with something like a boom that goes between both boats and holds them together, or apart as the case may be.

I have seen two boats drape a rope thru the eye loops in front -- no knots no tie - just draped and held so the drivers knew the sweet spot.
