    Mirror mount for

I just picked up an '09 230 with the FCT-3 tower. Do any companies make a tower mirror arm for this tower so I can get rid of the cheap looking windshield mounted mirror?

Just picked up mine on Friday as well and have the same question. I think it may be difficult to find something. I know they make one for the Malibu Illusion towers but it is easier on those since the tower continues forward and the arm just hangs down. Our towers swoop back so I don't think there is a place where it can mount on the tower.

Ditto. Just got my new boat and the mirror keeps falling off the windshield. I can't believe there is not a better option.

I'm considering figuring out a way to attach a mirror to my z5 rack.

Tom, that is exactly what I was thinking. That cargo rack ends right above the windshield and is plenty high to mount and arm that hangs down. The only question I have is how much will it vibrate and shake while moving and how to build or find such a thing! I actually got my mirror to stay on... just had to loosen the bolts all the way and put some electrical tape on the windshield as a precaution so it doesn't scratch. Push it on tight and screw the screws tight.

I just don't like it there since it gets in my way when the seat is in the up postiion... when I have the seat down, I see perfectly under it though.

I'm supposed to get my z5 rack in tomorrow. I'll have it installed and tell you what I figure out. Surely to god I can figure something out that doesn't look that bad. Although, I'm to the point where I'd use hose clamps to get the mirror just to stay somewhere off the windshield.

I bet the right size billet exhuast clamps for a dirt bike/quad would fit the z5 rack tubing. Then it would just be a matter of cutting and welding the clamps to the mirror mount.
