Maximum Time for Boat to Stay in Water?

Water levels are extremely high in Orlando due to heavy rainfall. The tower on my 08 210 is an absolute beast to fold. Boat/tower too high to get into my boathouse/lift. How long can I leave my boat in the water before I have to worry about permanent damage to the gelcoat ie. blistering/fading? It's been only about a week so far and it's killing me. Thanks!

Can't get any help? I'd be more worried about sun damage myself. Is it covered? I'd imagine it'd take a lot longer than a week to hurt the gelcoat.

I leave my boat in from May to October, taking it out once or twice to clean it - then pop it back in. If I have blisters, I can't find them and honestly don't care. The boat is meant to sit in water - its natural cradle. I don't have a lift so it simply stays in and I am fine with that. Just my personal take on the matter.

And I meant with the tower, not the whole shebang...

How are people folding these FCT1 towers with 4 speakers? My buddy and I could barely lift it a few inches after unscrewing it!

I've folded it both with and without the speakers. Either way, we unscrew it and one person stands on the seat next to the driver, lifts it up and passes it to me where I'm standing in the bow on the seat. I then lay it down.

When we first got it, we tried to do it from the ground...not a good idea...duh...

I would imagine with the speakers it probably weighs in the neighborhood of 75 lbs and without somewhere around 50 lbs.

It will take years of sitting in water for your boat to blister or bubble. I know of a couple mid 80's 2001's that have been sitting in the water all summer since they were new, and they haven't experienced any problems. CC makes the best hulls in the industry.

I live in Denmark. Pretty cold compare to must of you guys.
Our boat is in the salt water from start april until end of september / start october.

It goes out of the water approx every two month for a cleaning. takes a couple of hours.

It is just fine. no problem with the geel coat etc.

I have a FCT1 with 4 Kickers on the tower and I have no problem folding it by myself and trust me I'm not a big guy or anything. I just stand on the wraparound seat and lift it to the balancing point, stretch out to the bow seat, move under the tower and lay it down. Have to do it every time it leaves the garage and everytime it comes back which is every ride. The hardest part is the first couple inches. Just don't go up to fast or your fling it over onto the bow. Who knows maybe your tower is made out of lead or something, but less fat sacs that way!
