2000 SAN overhaul and rear engine platform conversion PART 1

I spent the past few months overhauling my 2000 Super Air at our farm in Chipley, FL. Originally kept at home in Pensacola, it suffered severe damage from the salt air and water. I just about rewired the entire boat, put in a new stereo head unit, and put LED lights throughout the inside. The main project was converting the 1 piece electric motor-driven engine platform to that of the 3 piece, gas spring operated one on the 2001 SAN. Here are some pictures of the project.

Thanks for sharing! Looks like quite the project. There was something about that single piece motorized hatch that I liked...probably just the bling factor. It reminded me of Miami Vice. Totally not practical for accessing gear but kinda cool nonetheless. You'll be stoked on the 3-piece, much better configuration. Good luck and keep us posted with more pics!
