I never would have thought this project would turn out this well. Congratulations, nice job.
I'm sure many have thought about making this mod. You are the first I've seen with the courage
and/or wherewithall to do it. BKH

            Nevermind, I found it...

I would love to see more detailed pictures of the latches. Also, were the side/engine compartment dividers put back in place? If so, how was this done with the added vertical support? Did you purchase the gas spring supports from CC?

Incredible job!!!! May be my next February job on my '99 SSN.

I too would like to see more detail in how you did everything. Like the braces under the Port and Starboard sides. Also, did you just buy the metel bars on both sides of the engine and slide them onto the top of the divider walls? Do you have a hardware list for the project?

Seriously. You should make and sell a conversion kit. I would be down for it!!!

I might even consider purchasing a kit. Still want to konw how the compartment dividers were done.

                            Great job

Looks great, I've been debating about doing this for a couple of years now. I've also thought about leaving the one piece hatch, yanking out the motorized cylinder and replacing it with 2 gas springs and 2 good quality latches. Any comments pro or con?
