    Underwater LED install pix

Finally had the time to install my underwater LED. I chose to run a single high-power LED opposite my exhaust outlet. I am happy with the final result, looks very balanced on the back of my boat. Have not had a chance to use it at night in the water yet. As we found during the testing it's difficult to take decent night pictures anyway.

    Enjoy

What is that chrome pipe coming from your exhaust? I have an older 2002 SAN and am not familiar with the newer boats. Is that the new exhaust on the new boats or did you add it yourself? Purpose?

Flipside. It is called fresh air exhaust. Makes surfing nicer without the fumes.

That's a blue Baller 3/Bulletlines X8000, as far as I can tell they are the exact same light.

Thanks, I thought it was. I ordered two green baller 3's and should be getting them hopefully pretty soon. Seeing yours installed gives me a better idea on how to place them on mine. I cant wait to see them lit up.

I wish Nautiques had an option of Sideswipes with fresh air as well.

Where are you buying these led lights?

I can't stand sideswipes, should be named noiseswipes, FAE is way nicer.

I like noise, however I would like the option to make it go away if needed.

                  Those LED lights are pricey.

These lights throw a very narrow beam. The one light is bright enough but I would prefer a wider beam. If I were to do it over again I might go with a single ShadowCaster, but those are $600 and that was too much for my budget. As I discussed in the test write-up, it's quite a challenge getting decent night pictures so I didn't bother. I need "a subject" in the water for good pictures. Unfortunately I am not sure how the wife would respond if I found "a subject" for the light to shine on.
