    ACME 1464!

Well I folded over a blade on my 644 a few weeks ago and decided it was time for a new prop so the 644 could be a spare. After looking at ACME's website and reading the prop reviews for 2003 SANTE I decided I would give ACME a call. I can't remember who I talked with now, but I told him I ride an '03 SANTE with about 2200 lbs of ballast and was I had the 644. Before I could even get 856 out of my mouth he said 1464. I had seen it on the website but wasn't sure and he said the 856 is old news go with the 1464 and I would be very pleased.

He was right! I love what this prop has done for my boat. It lost about 2 MPH compared to the 644 but I don't ever go faster than 35 and that's just to get to the riding spot a little up river. The boat comes out of the hole so much quicker now with the weight it's almost like I dropped a 1000 lbs.

For those of you unfamiliar with the 1464 it is basically the '08-up power prop for the older boats. They actually take that prop and cut the diameter down to fit the older hulls. For those of you running lots of weight in your 210 and want to get on plane faster the 1464 is the tool for you.

BTW - I got a great deal from Delta Props using the PN discount. I called them up, told them what I wanted and it was at my door almost $100 cheaper than anywhere else online in 3 days.

    RE: ACME 1464!

I ordered the ACME 1579 prop - for my 210 TE 2008 from Delta Props.

    The discount was 98$!

I have not received it yet. I live in Greece so I guess I will have to wait a week for shipping.

Enjoy your new prop! ...hope you will never need another one.

    Andron

Core, thanks that is what I was hoping to hear. I am planning on ordering one now. I am running about 2500lbs and need some more pull ou tof the hole.
