What's the difference?

I'm looking at a 2000 Air Nautique and a 2000 Sport Nautique. Other than the graphics, is there any difference? The sport has been upgraded to have a FCT and ballast tanks. If there is no difference, can I change the graphics on the sport to "air nautique"? Is that something that when selling the boat in the future a buyer would have issue with?

The hulls on those boats are the same. As long as the sport has the FCT and factory ballast (not sacs someone threw in the trunk) they are the same boat...except for options. I belive it wouldn't be too hard to switch the graphics, but you only need to do that if you want to. A bit of trivia, on our '02 Air Nautique, the coast guard plate reads "Sport Nautique" for the model. Hope that helps!

My 2000 Air Nautique says "Sport Nautique" on the coast guard plate as well. Basically the Air Nautique is a Sport Nautique with different graphics.

Thanks for the info and the "tip". Sounds like this can be done without a challenge. The tower is an FCT and the sacs were added by a dealer (White Lake) so I'm sure everything was per specs. Everytime I work with them they always seem to have it all together.

White Lake is top-notch. I have dealt with them with my current SAN and my previous '94 Ski Nautique. They've always been great to work with.
