    Where to store kneeboard

Trying to determine the best means of storing my kneeboard in our 211. Does anyone utilize a rack for a kneeboard, and if so how's it working out.

Last Sat I ended up using the strap to attach to tower and left board gently resting on top of bimini, but that can't be good for the top in the long run.

    Any suggestions?

Just bungee it on top of your tower. Here's a pic of Mikeski's 211 where he does the same thing with surf boards. Don't see why you can't do the same with a kneeboard.

I always strapped mine to the top using the leg strap around the front to back support bars.

Mike, can you post an up close picture of how you strap the boards? I just want to make sure I attach them in the right place.

          Thanks.

hey now Andrew..... it's not like it's a tube, dude. I know a guy that can throw flips on a Lowrider bigger than probably any non-pro wakeboarder out there. Bigger than some of those guys even. I think he has 20+ inverts in his bag.

Anyway, I won't have a pic. I cannot ride anymore so I never have mine out. I take the out of the footman loop and wrap it around two of the crossmembers and then back into the footman loop. Keeps it tight no matter what. I would think bungees would slip and move around a little.

I always hate on the knee board, because it hates on my knees! I can't ride one for more than 10 mins or I risk crying... lol

I use a bungee in a figure 8 pattern over each board and around each bar, 2 bungee's per board. It holds surprisingly well. Take note from any cartop surf rack. Double click on the picture above and you can see the thin blue straps going around the tower and up over the boards.

i have 08 216 TE, knee boards surf boards are an issue with Nautique towers, the MC tower has big openings that allow one to put not just wakeboards on the racks. Are people adding the flight control clips to the tower in addtion to the spinner racks that i already have? are there after market racks that can be exchanged to accomodate a surf board or knee boards?

I know that Roswell, Airboom, and Monster all make racks for surfboards.

We keep it in the starboard rear hold (*no tanks, though). Had a kneeboard and two wakeboards in there last week. Did find out that the other board we had with us was too long, though.

I broke out the 1985 yellow HydroSlide this weekend because of this thread. I cried after about 10 mins when my ankles started hunting. I can still flip after not riding 10 + years. PDT_003
