    SV-211

What is the official length on these? I looked at one in Indy and they said 20' 9" but I was looking in Wakeboard Magazine and they had the length as 23'? Also, they said out the door 58K on a tandem trailer and all for a team edition. Sound about right, or is that the retail price?

Thanks for the info on that. Can you say what retail is on this model? I hadn't started dealing on the boat, just asked for the "out the door" price. I wasn't sure whether I was getting a retail figure or a serious offer. I think they must be done with the 04's and working up to orders on the 05's now right?

How was your clinic on Monday 23rd? I wish I could have made it out, but had to travel to Chicago for the week.

My dealer has their SV211 demo with 8 hours listed for 54 K...which depending on taxes...is around 58 K OTD. It has the following options, covers, bimini, tower lights and speakers, 3 tank ballast, heater, shower, perfect pass, and VHF radio. Has a tandem trailer.

I assume if that is the listed price, it could be had for a little less....

Anyway, for whatever that is worth as far as pricing goes.

            Hey efox,

I live in Kokomo and bought a 211 Team addition at MD Boats and the price is right at $58K with bimini, stereo (4 Titan Bullets & added Memphis Amp), and all extra options except the underdash cooloer.

Mark and Mark are good guys, but don't let them sell you a Smitty's bimini or mount the cover snaps in the rubber bumper. Get a Tower Bimini and mount snaps right under the rubber bumper. All else should go well.

Just a bit of a reference for the guys at MD - my trailer broke down while on a trip to Dale Hollow about a month after delivery of my boat. One of the wheel hubs blew up on my Ramlin trailer - they brought a different trailer all the way down to DH and hauled my trailer back without a question. It only took 1 phone call and they were on the way. Good guys!

About the cost - maybe I an idiot, but I don't think there is alot of roon to truly negotiate Nautique prices. Each dealer only gets so many production slots and production is sold out in like June. I've heard alot of guys talk about sweet deals they have cut with their dealers and truthfully they are all about the same from what I have seen on this sight.

            $58K should get it all.

Here is our boat pulling out of MD's showroom - we are extremely happy!!

I had been hoping for 40's, but you know how it goes. The one I was looking at was also a Team. I'd like to think I could do without all the extas but I would probably be disappointed without them. I talked to "Q" yesterday to see if my boat was finished and we spoke briefly about the 211's. Bottom line, I will need to wait another year or two for that money.

              Thanks for the input though.

The bimini is very hard to set up compared to the tower bimini. I have to unscrew 1 leg and manuver the postaround the speakers - this a pain!! Also 12 holes had to be drilled in my boat/tower to mount the thing. Tower biminis mount to the tower with clamps - no holes in the boat or tower.

Smitty also did the cover, which was done nice - but, it was a bad idea to mount the snaps to the rub rail. Over a third of the snaps have come out and many have been replaced in addition. After the rubber has been drilled an screw with self tapping screws, any hole that has been stripped (which is many) must be redrilled for a bigger self tappig screw - which also strip out.

I have had very few troubloe with my Nautique, but the Bimini and cover have given me head aches since day one.

My cover snaps to the underside of the rubrail, and I have had zero issues with it. I use my cover all the time. I wonder if the wrong type of screws were used in yours.

                      AirNautique211,
I think your 211 is probably one of the hottest looking ones that I have seen! Very nice job with the colors.

NJ - can I see a close up of your snaps. I am going to have mine redone over the winter and would like as much info as possible to do it right. Mine have been a pain!!

Thanks SSS and all other people who have commented - we are very pleased and must credit our dealer for helping with the decision. Man, it is tought picking colors from the online cartoon picts. on the Nautique site. Unfortunately that's really the only way without seeing another boat. I think color selection is tougher than model selection. Notice NautiqueJeffs colors - sweet boat!!

By the way - we were out primarily skiing behind the 211 last night for the first serious time (a bunch of us older ski buddies). I will tell you what - the 211 is sweet at 34 MPH. I think it is a sweter ride than behind my buddies Response. The 211 is a great crossover boat!!

SV211 slalom wake as good as your buddies Response? "Stop your grinnin and drop your linen"--them's fightin' words. I like it. I've heard from a good source that the 211's wakes are better than the 216 wakes. From the same source at CC I've heard that they could have obtained slalom accreditation for the 211 but didn't bother. Sounds like an awesome boat.
