This project is still underway, but I am building a solid rear fat sac enclosure that doubles as a sun deck for my Ski Nautique 2001. It is essentially a housing for the 550lb rear ballast tank, but will give me extra storage space (needed for smaller boats, to reduce gear clutter) and an extra place for people to sit.
I am about 80% done with the project. So far I built the main structure of the box, tested it inside the boat to make sure it all fits, rolled the fat sack into it - and everything seems to be fine. Last night I began work on the cushion and the marine grade carpeted front and sides. As of this morning, the indoor outdoor epoxy has set, so all I need to do is staple everything together and take another set of photos (which I will post on the site tonight by 8pm) Have a look at my image gallery if you feel like it:

Once everything is complete and installed I will post more photos, and a full write up, with detailed plans for free. Until that time, please have a look at these for a start.
