Research how tall is a 01 san 210 with tower dwn on trailer

Hey guys,

New to the boards I am 25 have grown up with boats all my life. second summer without a boat Long story short my dad was in the boat biz for 20 years needless to say he is unemp and we sold out boat centurion enzo.. and it's killing me. I have been working 2 jobs 7 days a week since I graduated paid off all my student loans and have enough saved up where I'm going to try to buy a boat this winter.. I'm in Portland, OR looking at the 00-02 SAN My question is how tall is this boat on the trailer with the tower folded down? I think the house I'm in which has crazy garage storage has a standard door 81 inches tall. will this work or will I have to do some fancy work with the trailer low pro tires or drop axle to fit?

I am also up for sugestions on boats im looking to spend 20K at the Max I'm hoping to dig up like a 00 or 01 SAN this winter I am a litle new to the nautiques specifics on the models is the 210 or 211 a better boat for wakeboarding.. From what it looks like the 220 is the best but I don't have the resources for a boat that big.

for 20K it's gonna be hard to find something that new, but with this economy who knows. That being said, the 210 is better at wakeboarding. The 211 is a crossover and does everything good, nothing best...

With regards to your initial question, the height of an 01 SAN is largely going to depend on what trailer it's sitting on. I have an 01 and a Ramlin trailer and it clears my std height garage door (7', i think) by a couple of inches.

I'm pretty sure there are a few threads regarding specific heights if you do some poking around, here.

My 02 SANTE on a Dorsey Trailer was just a hair over 7"... 81" seems low as most garages are at least 7" to the header. Are you measuring the acctual garage door height becasue you may be able to adjust the garage door opener to pull the door up higher.

The garage is a hand opened one. That is to the beauty trim.
Having fam in the industry on the 4th a dealer closed in the midwest and 8 brand new v dries 210-236 sold all under 30K at auction..
So im hoping to find something when the season winds down and cash talks.
at 25 if i could afford more I would spend it just not an option right now though...
