    Need tires

Well my trailer needs new shoes. I have a 210 on a ramlin trailer. dual axle. It has goodyear tires on it now. this will be my first time buying trailer tires for a boat. I usually sell the boat too fast to worry about it. Anyway what do you guys reccomend and please give me an idea of costs so I know what is a good deal and what is not. Oh in case you need to know I only trailer a few miles round trip to the ramp.
    thanks

Maxxis. Around $100-110 each. Better than the Marathons IMVHO.

My Tow Masters came from Costco, convenient and good warranty. I think they were just $100 mounted. I like my Tow Masters better than the Goodyears I previously had on the boat.

thanks. What makes one trailer tire better than the next. For me I guess it would be the tire that goes the longest without dry rotting. I won't be putting alot of miles on it. I don't take any road trips with my boat. Just to the ramp and back

You can get RV wheel covers to put over the tires to prevent the dry rot. Rot is caused, or least the majority of the decay is caused by UV rays. Covers are cheaper than new tires, fo sho, and I'm sure in the Bama heat it gets 'em quick!

            RE: Need tires

I picked up a slightly used set from a local dealer today for $100 bucks. they are the same tires that are on the trailer now. they are in great shape with some of the little knobs still showing. I keep this boat and trailer in a garage now so maybe this set will last much longer.
