Sounds like your bilge is running in reverse!

It sound like you are on your way to isolating the problem.
Close all the petcocks that allow water into the ballast tanks. Make sure the engine cooling water petcock is open. Go run the boat, without filling the ballast tanks, and see if you get any water in it.

Well you should be running your automatic bilge all the time anyway. There may be water somewhere in the bildge the whole time you are just not looking where it is, then when you get the boat on a trailer (maybe on an incline) all the water runs to the back and out the bilge. How much water are we talking? How long does the bilge pump water out? Are you running stock ballast or have you added sacks?

The bilge pumps on your boat are automatic. They come on when you first turn them on, and run until the water is gone. After that, every few minutes, they switch back on, and if there is water, they pump it. If no water, they shut off after a few seconds.

Yes, your boat should have automatic bilge pumps. Just turn them on. when all water is pumped out the pumps will turn off. Just turn on the switch on the console and leave it on when riding. But..... that is a ton of water.

Alright here is what we should do. Put the boat in and run it without ballast like we have been saying. Keep the pumps on and watch to see if any water is being pumped out. If none then fill up the ballast and check for leaks. Take some tools, my bet is just a loose or split hose.

open your engine cover with the motor running and carefully look around to see if water is coming out anywhere. If there is significant water, I would suspect it is leaking out of the cooling system somewhere from the ride you described.
