2009 SAN 210 with FC-3 tower ... fold down specs/height

Nautique site has only one pic and owner manual has no detail measured specs.. I have a new 2009 SAN (got a great deal was an oddball 'se' but with 'te' trim plus other extras some guy ordered, then bailed on while it was still at factory)

As a reult, it has awesome fc3 tower...new and awesome. It arrives in 10 days. I need to know height/clearance needed above the windshield ...IE when this thing is fully folded down inside windshield...as low as it can go.....is it 2, 10, 16 ??? inches higher then the windshield.

My pal BA has the 07, same trailer, same size but older model tower. Trying to figure if my new boat fits in my garage...or if I need plan B.

Who is my guru out there? :shock:

It's going to depend a lot on the trailer, which is why they don't list it.... sorry, but there's no solid one size fits all answer out there for boat height. Also depends on the wheels/tires on the trailer, etc. You might want to have the dealer/factory see if they can measure it for you.

And I appreciate that...but I know the trailer and all that..same as my pal's 07..same boat same trailer....what I hope to hear is someone who can measure their fc3 tower when folded down......how much it sticks up above windshield.....unrelated to trailer.....I know within 1 inch how tall windshield is for the 09 210 on Eagle double axle trailer....just need to know how much taller than that the folded down tower is.... HOPE someone out there knows..

The FCT3 is quite a bit taller than the other towers when laid down. Sorry I don't have exact dimensions.

Thanks OK...that helps...means I need to wait till it arrives...prolly need to cut open my garage door, re beam and go tall......or go the outbuilding route....

I was worrying about the same thing when shopping last month for a 211 or a 216V so this may help - the 216V with the FCT3 tower down is 8’6” (with obvious trailer cavets) compared to 7' even using the FCT2 tower. The board racks add another 3-4" as well (on the FCT2) if you don't remove them. Good luck with the fit in the garage - I went with a 211 with the FCT4 tower and easily removeable board racks to be able to fit in a 7' garage.

I have an 8ft garage door and I have to remove the center piece of the tower and the board racks to get it in. It is a couple inches too tall if I don't. My boat is on a t\a trailmaster.

While looking for my new boat I measured a 210 with the FC3 tower folded down as far as it would go. After the tower was collapsed it was approximately 15 inches higher than the highest part of the windshield. I ended up putting a deposit on a leftover 08 SANTE 210 with the Titan tower so I can put it in my garage opening which is only 7' high.
