    2008 210 weighting question

I have a 2008 SANTE 210 with factory ballast and will be adding 800 lbs of lead from pop products. At 24mph with a 70' rope, what sort of configuration are you guys running.
I'm thinking 300 lbs in the bow (150 each side) and 500 lbs in back (250 each side). Looking to see someone's input that runs 1800 - 2000 pounds in total.

    Thanks

    RE: 2008 210 weighting question

My boy BA runs 07 SANTE 210, same hull and etc as you. Why are you adding lead? They have such great ballast kits (two 250's in rear and a 250 boomerang shape in front...they run off your stock back/mid ballast overflow to fill then out through existing holes...no drilling.. EZ. 4 min to fill. way more modification EZ.

But to your weighting... Extra 500 in the back will mac out the wake. 300 in the nose is bit much unless you run full ballast and 5+ friends in back......if just running with 3 bodies you will be tad nose heavy and make wake not optimal. IF you must do lead...start 200 in nose and 500 in rear.....your boat loves a heavy butt.

      RE: 2008 210 weighting question

I run my '08 210 with 800 additional in the back (two 400s) and a 350 sac in the ski locker under the floor. I also add a 440 sac on the walkway floor. With just two people in the boat its very nice, add 8 people and you're making other boat owners jealous.

On our 2008 210 we run full factory ballast , plus 450 sack each side of engine, 750 sack in walk way plus another 500 lbs lead ,300 in nose and 200 used in the middle to balanced the boat . Also use the 230 power prop. No problem on hole shot . Runs at 3200 rpm at 23.5 mph with 75 foot rope.

I run full factory plus 240 sack on each rear side and 540 sac in the walk thru.......this makes everyone jealous on my lake! I have also had 9 adults with this setup and that makes it retarted......almost scary big!

At 24mph you should be ridding at 80ft at least behind this boat imho. :-D

Yes, it is the 1235 prop by acme. it made all the difference over the 210 team power prop, fits perfect, planes quicker and runs 800 rpm slower ,3200 rpm at 23.5 mph with 2500 extra weight plus factory.
