    RE: It

Not too surprising. Kinda strange that the 200 is still not listed with the others. You'd think they're only slalom boat is a 216. Glad they make better boats than marketing plans.

From what I have heard, the 226 is going to be the "reinvented" boat in 2010 like the 216V in 2009. I don't know much about it, but there are supposed to be some drastic changes. We'll see what comes of it.

from what I have seen, it looks like an oversized 216V. There is probably more to it than that but that is how it looks to me.

They will keep on selling the 196 and 206 for sure. If somebody wants one, they will build it. They keep the molds in the factory of these 2 boats.
The 226 is indeed changed. A lot more smart details like the 216V.

I own a 206 that's now 2.5 years old and LUUUUUV it. However, the new open bow looks good. I really like the ski storage. The back ski compartment on the 206 is only long enuf for shorter skis. I'd love to have more side storage space. Our floor is always full of piles of skis. Wife's, mine, kids, starter blank (hey, don't laugh....my brother had to use it cuz he was too fat to get up on one anymore but i hurt my back this year and it's amazing how much less strain i put on my body when I start with two. So it goes). Maybe in five years I'll trade in the 206 for the new open bow. Maybe.

CC sure doesnt say much when they discontinue a model, kind of like sweeping it under the carpet and acting like it never existed. You would think they would at least explain something on the site.

Or keep it alongside the new to give "one last chance" for the old style like Ford did the F150s back in 1996/7.
