Spiiner Racks releasing while driving the boat?

Has anybody else had any issues with the spinner racks releaseing while the boat is underway? I have had several occasions where I have boards in the rack, and while pulling a rider, the rack releases, spinning around and almost hitting someone (namely me) in the head. I have the spinner racks on the 08 FCT2 Titan tower. Any clues for how to fix this?

I have had this same issue. I'm not sure if it is possible but it might be installed upside down. I have 4 spinner racks on mine and changed the 2 on the passenger side. As I changed them I turned the rack with the issue over and it doesn't seem to be a problem any more. It is lower on the tower and does not move around as much which is probably the solution. [/u]

FWIW, mine are stock as the came from the factory. I have not moved or altered them in any way....

Mine did the same thing, dealer replaced them with new 09 racks!

I have not had one completely release but one of mine has a lot of play in it.
