Any more feedback on the SN 200

Just curious what the feedback was on the 200 after the Big Dawg tournament this past weekend. Anyone hear anything?

RE: Any more feedback on the SN 200

Two friends of mine drove and skied the 200 at Nationals. One drove a skier through 39. Said it tracked better than my '08 196 which is already impressive. Said it was a larger boat, but didn't drive like one. Skiing - he said there was a little more white wash, but almost no spray and almost no wake. Both were highly impressed with the boat.

RE: Any more feedback on the SN 200

One of my friends skied behind the 200 on the practice lake at nationals. Said there was a definite kick at 28 off but from 32 on up through 38 the wake was non existant. He did mention that in the wind they had, he was feeling spray at 35 and 38.

Mark, you have one on order? I'd only buy one from you but it has to be black and yellow.

Good feedback. I would love to hear some more feedback as well. Any thoughts on the interior (ie. comfort of back seat and utility of the saddle bags) and instrument panel?

I dont have one on order yet. I was sitting in the water last night holding the handle and waiting for the beeper to go off when I got to thinking about the wake and spray. How can it get any better then the 196 I thought. It is hard to think that there is a better wake and if there is, what is it worth?

From what my guys are saying, it will take a little getting used to. There is no bump (they start at 28), but the trough is moved out about 4-5' from where it is on the 196. They didn't have any trouble with it after the 1st set.

I'm told that Chris and Andy are BOTH running 3-4 buoys at 43 at the test lakes at CC.

                      WOW!! Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

Ok Dave, I'm a dork. But what do you mean regarding the trough? Are you saying it's wider or in a different location?

                        Steve,

P.S. I can't believe your boat hasn't sold yet. Did you put it on Craig's list?

The trough is the depression in the wake. Like the reverse of a bump. They are telling me it is about the same size as on the 196, but it is further out. Rather than being 3-5' from the center of the wake, it is 4-6' from the center.

I can't believe it hasn't sold either. I'm taking a huge hit on it. Very low price and in almost perfect condition. Hard to believe, but the 300 hours is scaring some people. Most of that time is spent at idle during tournaments. 300 is nothing on these boats.

That's a shame, because 300 hours is just barely broken in on these boats, especially when taken care of. Not to mention the five year bumper to bumper has them covered. Unless that doesn't apply to a promo boat. I'm not really up on that part.

My understanding is that the warranty transfers on a promo boat (with a fee), but does not transfer with a non-promo used boat.

Sorry to get us off topic. By the way, the two guys that skied/drove/loved the 200 both own Malibu's.
