That one in Chatt is at my local CC dealer, trc yachtsales. That boat is clean as a whistle. I've been on it a few times. TRC will blow that boat out and help arrange shipping. If you want more details on that boat, pm me and I'll put you in touch with the right guy over there.

PLEASE use your local dealers. They need to stay in business to offer you service and parts too.....

I would imagine they could do a swap so you could still buy local but get the boat you want (at least they do with cars). Unless you have a problem with the local dealer, I'd buy from them. One of CC's biggest assets is it's dealers. You'll need to service it eventually.
i may have been inclined to agree with you before the advent of the internet.

boattraderonline.com --- my resale is affected by the price of boats in low volume/price areas around the nation. it is fiscally irresponsible for me to buy a boat for $20k+ more locally when they can be had for $20k+ less elsewhere. used boat buyers are savvy, so i am going to be stuck with a big loss when i go to turn my boat over.

i have two mastercraft dealerships that service my area. before the second one moved in several years ago, the reputation of the first one was abominable. mastercraft was selling next to no boats locally, and those whom did buy were disatisfied. the second mastercraft dealership moved in 60 miles down the road and took all (what was left) of the first mastercraft dealerships business. now several years later, we have two great dealerships. they were forced to compete from a price and a service standpoint. imagine that, some good old free market competition.

why cant your friend compete with the big dealership? if by pull, you mean the big dealer buys his boats cheaper than your friend, then isnt CC to blame for your friends lack of success? or do you mean by pull the big dealer has built a great reputation...how is that unfair?

I have a friend who bought an 06 X star from a friend (dealer) who was from a different territory from where he lives. If it goes in to his local dealer for warranty work then the dealer who sold it has to pay the local dealer $5000 for selling out of territory. Not sure how CC does it, but that is how Mastercraft punishes dealers who sell out of their area. This wasn't a big deal to him until he blew up a motor and had to haul it out of state to have it warrantied, at least it happened near the end of the fall of 07. He did save about $15000.
