Hey Fly, this is about as black as your going to get. This is only one of 2 CC made in all black. (I own the other) It needs some TLC and the guys post makes him sound like a douche, but I emailed him last week and got back a better reply than I was expecting. Beware the boat has been run in salt water though.

^^ Not a bad deal, but who would let their boat run at idle for that many hours? That's insane! I didn't know you could read how many hours the boat had been run at X RPM. Learn something new everyday I guess.

The black boat was a bank repo I saw sell early summer.. I'm pretty sure its a "super sport" vs the super air nautique te.. with a lot of the upgraded team options on it.. at least thats what was advertised to me by the previous seller. Not a lot of difference in the boat.. (same hull design) just in the book value that year.

The second boat, the 04 has been for sale since spring.. same price.

I think it was between 01 and 02. The side gunnels were also narrowed at that time and the rear / transome was reshaped.

I was looking at an 01 and an 04 today and couldnt believe the difference in "feel" between the 2 of them. It seemed like a whole different setup.

If I'm correct it was '03. Might have been a year earlier though like Shooter said.
I spoke with some former CC-designers who were involved in the process back then, according to them the changes made the boat more practical but at the same time less 'sturdy' (sorry, can't think of another word, but I mean the sides got thinner, so the hull is not as strong as before the changes.) Definitely something to keep in mind.
