    Too Much Weight on Floor????

Hey guys I need you to put my mind at ease. I rode with a guy a year or so ago that had a great idea. He used a 50lbs dumbbell in the floor to move around instead of moving people to clean up both wakes and keep the boat running true. Well I had a guy that works at a gym to give me a left over rubber coated dbell. Problem is the only one he could give me was 100lbs. I like the idea of moving it around instead of people but I don't want to have to lug this heavy thing in and out of the boat evertime I go to the lake.

So my question is could this much weight cause any damage or warping of my floor if I leave it in the boat. What do you guys think....

yeah but that's not 100lbs isolated to one small area. I mean people well over 200lbs get in and out of these boats all the time, but what about leaving 100lbs in the same spot for days at a time. Maybe I'm just being a worry wart.

Put a piece of marine plywood under the carpet in one of the storage lockers and put it there at the end of each day.

It's either 120 pounds or 80 pounds in one spot - due to only having to adjust by moving one 40 lb bag.
At the end of the day it's 120 back in the same spot and the boat sits for the week that way. Been this way
            for years.

Get a 40lb pop bag and put it under the barbell for a cushion? Just be very careful moving it around, 100lbs on one square inch is much more pressure than 100lbs on one square foot... Don't drop that thing in your boat.
