Anyone have any idea what it takes physically and financially to install a heating system in a 211. I've got an 04...has switch on dash and what I think are vents (under the driver's seat?).
Thanks
I believe the heater on the 211 goes in the space behind the driver's seat. If you pull the silver basket liner it exposes the open space adequate to house the heater. Not sure how all the hoses are routed? The space behind the kick panel in front of the driver is also probably adequate. The heaters are heatercraft 3H with two vents, one euro, I think. My guess is that there is a defrost duct in front of the driver's dashpod, one at the driver's feet, and the euro just in front of the ice chest? The cost for the kit on go2marine is $380. If you can do your own tune up, you can probably handle the install. Should not take longer than one afternoon to install. Cutting the vent holes is probably the toughest part.
