    FIberglass Floor

As ive stated before i want the fiberglass floor in my boat with just the snap in inserts...question is has anyone ever attempted/accomplished removing the carpet in say an '06 and made it work???

If so what was the floor like underneath, how difficult, is it worth it or just step up to an 07?

If not, then ill keep sailing with the 07/08/09 in mind and go with it!

Only reason I ask is i really dig AuMDLST 2006 SANTE and have since ive been on this site but im just dead set on FG flooring...AM I CRAZY???

I think it would be easier to just get another boat with the snap out carpet, but of course might not be as cost effective. I wish my 216 had snap out carpet.

i agree with ya medic but ya never know till you ask...we just think the FG floor will help with clean up after the little ones and we have two danes that will be stowaways as well!

I guess you would just clean off all the residue and put down some splatter/grit paint like the fishing boats. Then the throw rug.

Definately out of place....but I don't see anything wrong with it. My buddy has one of those "jet" doodad boats with the carpetless floor and they love it.
