I have a 93 ski nautique and it has a slight soft spot on the port side by the engine box i was told it has no wood a fiberglass floor is that true someone let me know thanks

I was under the impression that the wood was gone in 94 - and still some in 93.2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)

No wood in 1993 and newer Correct Crafts. 1992 was the last year for wood stringers and (partial) floor.1990 Ski Nautique

Soft spots in '93 and later SN's are usually due to impact loading on the floor (maybe caused by someone jumping in the boat). The thin (about 1/8") fiberglass floor is support by structural foam. The foam can handle normal traffic, but high impact loads will deflect the floor and compress the foam. The floor rebounds, but the foam does not. Now you are left with a void that allows the fiberglass floor to flex each time someone walks on it. Eventually, the fiberglass will fatique and crack.Originally posted by 93nautique0710
the fix is to cut out the "soft spot" and lay in new fiberglass that will then be adhered again to the foam. just use more glass to build up to the proper level.Comment

Thanks everyone for the insurance it will be a lot easyier to repair that then replacing the whole floor got to love correct craft and im lookin for a rear seat or if some one has one that needs to be redone i will pay for it so christeens apostry can have the pattern to make mine at this point i dont care how much it takesComment
