80's model 2001 converted to v-drive!

I don't think this has been posted on here so I thought I would... Someone at www.the2001.com converted their 80's model 2001 into a v-dive configuration. The results are very clean and classic looking. Here is the link the original post...

Platform is in it's original location. Boat sits lower in the water at the stern because the engine has been moved to the back. He propably could have moved it up a bit, but it would have looked odd out of the water. Also would have to move the blocks where the platform bracket screws into the stern. BKH

in the first pic the platform is actually under water. Probably makes it very easy to get back on.

Probably need trim tabs at speed to keep it from porposing.
