    200 cover / bimini options

1 - Will there be any issues in the bimini cover design / geometry?

My bimini on my 196 was anchored to the side of the windshield and the rear straps hooked to the side of the gunnel at/near the pylon to prevent the rope from hitting.

If you look at the side view of the 200 on CC's website, it looks like we might need to reconfigure.

2 - Does Rankin have the specs to design a cover?

I bought a Rankin with my '07 hoping to transfer it from year-to-year...but alas the 200 arrives and there goes my plan out the window!

I would prefer not to have to buy a cheap cover from my dealer while I wait on Rankin to get the specs and material...but I might have to do that for the first year.

Actually I think (I may change my opinion when I receive mine) that the Correct Craft cover is pretty good now. (not the green weenie that was no good for towing in previous years). It is made of the same material and designed similiar to what has been the factory cover on MasterCrafts for the last couple of years. It may even come from the same supplier, but of course I could be wrong on that because I am just assuming. I think that they are still working on a bimini design / supplier. I prefer the quick disconnects and rigid front supports over the "screw to the windshield" and strap design.
