    Transfer warranty?

I just bought a 2006 SANTE 220 with 94 hrs on it. I sent in the $300 to transfer the parts only warrenty :o After reading on this site I discovered there is also a $300 fee to transfer over the warranty on the Hull & deck. WTF? Is everyone doing this or am I the only one? It seems to me that the limited lifetime warranty on the hull/deck is worth the $300 but the parts only is not... am I confused on this ? what should I do?

      RE: Transfer warranty?

I paid the PCM fee, the parts fee, and the hull fee.

I included this in my budget when shopping.

Yes, The hull/stringer warranty transfer fee is $300 and the parts only fee is $300. The PCM transfer fee is $100, but that doesn't apply with your boat.

I just bought a 210 Super Air Nautique, and I have the boat in the shop for warranty work and they told me as a second owner the parts are convered under warranty but not the labor.... Is this true? I never paid any transfer warranty fee???

I too struggled with this when buying an 06 last summer... I had th forms all filled out but then decided to bank the $700 bucks and use it to pay for any repairs that might be needed... So far i am $700 dollars ahead after the first season...

I think the PCM fee is $100 but only for 3 years. So my PCM warranty will end at the end of 09, not worth transferring, besides she runs great!

Doesn't apply to wakeboard boats, but for promo ski boats, the hull warranty transfer is free and small fee for the engine.

I remember the PCM fee to be 150...would have to look it up to confirm.

Here is something I didn't remember reading before today:

Exceptions: This "Correct Craft Limited Warranty" shall not apply to.... bullet->Any Correct Craft boat which has been used at any time for commercial or racing purposes, as a demonstrator or in a promotional program, ski school or ski show.

Sounds like mass confusion - no offense to Catholics. Call the factory and ask them. ER

Malibu's promos are considered untitled boats and the warranty goes tot he first purchaser after the promo ends.

This only applies to promo boats. Your 220 that wouldn't apply. You'd still have to pay the $300 hull warranty transfer fee.
