just would like to know if a seat out of a 90 196 would fit in a 93 196

Maybe. The shape of the transom is the same. The only thing that may be off is the height- my early production '90 was shimmed with wood on the bottom of the seat base to dial in the correct height. All the 91+ seats Ive seen extend the plastic base all the way to the floor instead. Either way it can be made to fit.
