24' Correct Craft San Juan for sale - San Francisco

Not mine but interesting from a nostalgia standpoint...
(I know it's posted in the wrong place from an ad standpoint but I thought it was interesting)

This 24' San Juan hardtop represents Correct Craft's 50th anniversary in 1975. We are selling our boat because we've just purchased our big dream wooden boat and can't (shouldn't) keep both. She's powered by a Mercruiser 350 hp direct drive big block Chevy mated to a velvet drive 1:1 transmission. This is a basic competition ski boat configuration with a comfortable hardtop and retro look. Less than 500 hours on entire boat, less than 20 hours since complete valve job and new exhaust manifolds and risers. V-berth with privacy canvas, porta potty. Comes with an extra $500 Acme 4 blade tournament ski boat/wake boat propeller. Last haul out 8 months ago which included bottom job, zincs, retuned propeller and new restriping (a pricey, but well-worth endeavor).

This boat is hard to find. Correct Craft made a flybridge version, some with outdrives.l This is by far the most desirable with it's sleek lines and traditional marine running gear. Some people refer to this boat as a cocktail boat. Delivered from factory to Lake Tahoe, we have enjoyed her on the bay as a daily driver. Comfortable, an absolute joy to own and operate. Covered transferrable slip in San Rafael. All reasonable offers will be considered. Thanks for looking!

The brochure shows the beam at 8' and the weight at 4400 lbs. So I'm pretty sure it could be trailered in any state.

I drove a San Juan with a flybridge and twin screws. Sitting on top, you feel like you are going to turn over at first when doing a hard turn (but it does not turn fast at all compared to newer models). The pronounced lean takes a little getting used to. But these are kool boats. I will try an get photos of the one on our lake here in Alabama.
