Replacing hard tanks in 07+ 210

Has anyone ever replaced their hard tanks in the rear with some bigger sacs?

I know several people here have the fly high v-drive sacs piggybacked on top, and I have some older launch pad 350's on top, but I was thinking about removing it all and hooking the factory pumps to the big 750 lbs Fat Sacs in the back. It would be more storage when empty and more weight when full, and I could customize it a little easier depending on whos riding.

I have an 07 211 and changed out one tank for a 750 bag. After doing it I wondered why CC does not offer soft tanks as options. We gained a huge amount of storage. it is a simple change but it is a great upgrade. I did it for surfing. We have not used it for wakeboarding.

Alright, did you need to do anything with the factory pumps? I have the Jabsco reversable in my 08 and just wondered if you need some type of cut off for air.

To answer your question about the CC option, I'm sure it has something to do with weight and capacity limits and legality at some point.

I hooked the bottom hole to the pump and the top hole to the outlet. I used the original hoses. When you fill the bags you will have to push the switch when it shuts off. I use a tsunami pump to help it along. Over fill goes out the side of the boat. Works great. Empty must be watched closer. There is a chance you could damage the pumps if the water is out of your bag and it keeps pumping. I have heard of people using a pvc skeleton to ensure the pumps don't get damaged.

Swapping tanks for bags on '06+ boats is VERY straight forward, and the benefits of more ballast capacity and increased storage when empty are well worth it.

There is no need to use PVC on this type of setup, that is only necessary to prevent damage to the factory hard tanks when piggybacking with impeller type pumps. For an extra clean install you can use Fly High's Quick Disconnect fittings to be able to easily remove the bags for cleaning, winterization or storage. We have PiggyBack kits with 400 and 750 pound bags that include all of the fittings and connectors you need on our site.
