    216V vs 211

What is the difference between the two models. Ski wake the same in these two xover boats? Not sure if I should buy a 220 or 211 or 216V. Looking to have 4 adults, 6 kids in boat. Intermediate to expert skiers and beginner wake boarders. Any suggestions on which would be the better boat?

    RE: 216V vs 211

I think that is too many for a 211. I have a 211 and love it. We ski open water and Surf. Hard to find a boat that can do both OK. 216 feels bigger and I have been told the ski wake is close. If you are looking for a direct dive wake you will not get it with any of these boats. 220 is still bigger.

ski: 211-->216v------------->220. If you're concerned about skiing, don't go with the 220. If you have a posse of 10 normally, go with the 216v. Otherwise, the 211. It's great for occasional 10 but not a regular bunch.

As a former 211 owner that wanted to get more room i went with a new 210 Team over the 216V. The 211 ski wake has a nasty dip in the middle, and you are not going to get a direct drive wake out of it. The 211 was built to be narrow enough to fit in the course which has a lot to do with the space inside. I loved my 211 and it introduced me to the Nautique brand.

I owned a Moomba outback DD, a Supra 21V prior to the 211. The 211 was the best selling hull for CC for years but seems to be getting phased out which is a shame. I bought the 210 for the space and wake. It surfs great, it skis good, and the wakeboarding wake is awesome. you can also load the boat up with 10 people and be comfortable. I would have to say for the normal open water skier the 210 ski wake is pretty darn good. The 211 ski wake will never be good with 6 adults in the boat.

The resale of a 210 is another factor that i put in my decision. Look around for some slightly used 210's right now with good prices (07 and up hull). I bought mine new for less than most were selling used for.
