    Registration Numbers Location

I know this has been a hot topic and has possibly been beat to death. But not on my boat so please give me some ideas as to where I should put my registration numbers. Definitely going with Domed but not sure color or location.

    Thanks

I don't have a 210, but on a 196, there's room just below the rub rail just ahead of the windshield. Give it a measure and see what you think...http://www.planetnautique.com/index....ic&pic_id=2100
    Peace..

You might want to check with your state. I believe in California it is specified that they go under the rubrail between the bow and windshield

On the starboard side of my 206 there is a bilge outlet fitting. I indexed that as part of the gap/spacing required between the sticker and the numbers. Then made the other side match. On the starboard side, there was really no option forward/aft. I think I put them above the stripe.

They are gone now because I'm on a private lake. I have a kit in a zip bag with the current sticker so I can put them on quickly if I head to public waters.

            This reads that:
Number must be painted, applied as a decal, or otherwise affixed to both sides of the bow and placed where it can be easily read.
Number must read from left to right on both sides of the bow.
Number must be in at least three-inch-high BLOCK letters (not slanted).
Number's color must contrast with its background.

I would assume and assume is a dangerous word, that I can place them anywhere along the front of the boat above the water line. I like all the ideas so far thanks guys.

All the boats I have purchased in the past have already had the Reg numbers on them so the decision was already made for me. This color layout is what has me torn on what to do.

Why not do a cool black/blue fade from Domednumbers.com above the rub rail. FWIW, since I moor offshore a lot, I've found the numbers tend to take a beating from the buoy. Same for the bumpers at some dock heights.

I like them below the rub rail. Here is what I would do either in white or light gray.

AirTool. . . . Thanks for taking the time to do that. That is huge for me to be able to see it. I owe you.

                    Thanks again.
