I need the font for a 2008 correct craft 206 ski nautique

Hello, I am going to have the license numbers custom made for my 2008 206 ski nautique. On the stern of the boat the word Nautique looks really cool, what is the name of the font that was used for that. Again it is a 2008.

That's a Correct Craft-owned font, and not in the public domain.

But, this is a very similar-looking font that most won't be able to differentiate from the real deal. I'm pretty sure it's legal to use, especially since it was on this site.

Although IIRC the stern font on an 08' is Chromax, There is/was a great special running on this site with Domed numbers, that's what I used on my 05' 206 and it was a near perfect match to the "Team" and "206" on the side of my boat, which may be a match to what an 08' has on the side as well? Just a thought.

there is a font called Megahertz. you can download it (not freeware) it is identical to the one CC use.

Crilee italic is the closest us font nerds have come to the 80's era font face used for "Ski Nautique" etc. Serpentine is the closest we've come to for the 90's era stuff, and, yes, Megahertz is the closest to the current stuff.

But for the most part, the fonts they use are closely guarded secrets. Few if any copies of what they use in the design dept have ever been leaked out, and I've asked multiple times.

Ok folks...thanks for all the repies...here is what I have found out.

The best matched font is "Megahertz IN" Italic and it is a perfect match!

Here is the interesting part...it is italics..but you have to double the lean of the font to match it up....very nice idea on correct crafts part...more lean looks faster...LOL

At any rate, now I need to figure out how they are going to me made. I need to get the material that the carbon stripe was done in from CC and that would look very cool. Have to call to see if they sell that so my local company can do the work for me.
