Height of Folded Tower on 2004 SAN 210

I was wondering what the height is on a folded tower on a 2004 SAN 210. It is setting on a Dorsey Tandem axle tower. The opening to my garage is a little over 6'10".

Is it the regular Dorsey tandem with the 14 inch wheels? I have a 2005 and it will go under 6' 10" door. Tongue height of the trailer (on your tow vehicle) makes a difference, slope of the driveway makes a difference, and air pressure in the tires, makes a difference. Also, the 2004 has a slightly different tower, so I'm not sure how much difference that will make, but I really can't imagine it being a problem.

I think it is the regular one. I think it might have 15" wheels though. Do you know the difference between the 2004 and the 2005 tower? I am looking for a 2004 - 2006 SAN 210. My dealer found this 2004, but I haven't seen it yet.

Come to think of it, my trailer may have 15 inch wheels instead of 14, I don't really remember.

The lower section of the 2004 tower is curved, whereas the 2005 and 2006 is more "squared off". The 2004 tower is generally seen as less desireable b/c it apparently caused line of sight problems. I have no first hand experience with it though. The 2006 tower is a LOT bigger, but not any taller. I'm not sure what it looks like folded down, but I would suspect that the highest part is still going to be the lower section, as the top section is going to fold lower than that.

The only other differences that I know of between the 3 years is that the stereo was upgraded to Polk Momo speakers in 2004, and the ballast valves were improved in 2006.

          You should call them directly.

This is literally one of the most common questions they answer day-to-day from prospective customers. They have a laminated reference sheet next to the phone that breaks this down by boat, by trailer - includes length, height accommodation needs and more.

Or get the dealer to fold the tower and measure. It still won't account for the tire pressure, drive slope, or tongue height, but should give you a good idea...

i measuered an 04 a couple years ago on a single axle trailer, and it would barely fit under a 7' garage. I'm not sure about 6'10" though, but it does depend on your driveway angle.
