Bought a 03 SANTE and all the speakers are blown. How do you take off the panels to access the speakers in the upholstery? Also what size are the speakers? It has the kicker upgrade. I want to replace the speakers and amp. What kind of speakers are the best?

RE: 2003 SANTE stereo question
Look under the panels all the way to the top you will see the bolts holding everything in place. There will be several for each. After you take off the panel you can simply disconnect the speaker wire and then mount in the new ones, plug back in and rebolt. The bow is next to impossible. I know several people that just took a razor to the black netting, cut out the speakers and then put grills over the new ones. Speaker size is 6.5". Can't help you on the best ones to get.

RE: 2003 SANTE stereo question
Try some searches as you will find many answers to your questions there. If you are interested in the
"best" speakers you will want to use the best option for mounting and that is not behind the pads. Your
searches will result in many explanations with pictures. Wetsounds seems to be the product to use
as far as the speakers and amps.2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)

I just finished replacing all of the interior speakers in my 2002, including the bow. Unfortunately the previous owner had mounted larger speakers in the bow so I had to remove the entire cushion. I was actually easier than I thought it would be. On my boat their were 2 screws under the passenger seat and 4 screws under the dash. Remove these, then remove the cupholders and bottom cushions, and reach up way up right between where the cupholders were in place, toward the oh sh!t handle. . Be careful because there are screws protruding that hold the cupholder assembly onto the cushion. There is one nut on each side to remove, and one more nut in the front right in the center. You dont need to reach for this one.
After you have it all unbolted, start by pulling straight up at the areas where the cushion nears the windshield. There is a metal bracket their that slides into the back of the cushion. You will see what I mean when you get this far. To replace the speakers, I did not remove the whole cushion, I just propped up on side at a time.
Hope this helps.
