1999 Pro Air or suggestions?

Greetings, I am new to inboards but not boating. I have a 12 year old wakeboarder and a 15 year old skier and a couple of old guys like me who will do anything but only for 5 minutes before we feel our age. I am considering a 1999 Pro air for an all around boat. We need an open bow for kids as we have alot of visitors.

Thoughts, suggestions, comments...looking forward to hearing feedback.

By the way the Pro Air has 900 hours, looks great, one-owner for 15K?

If it was taken care of, that is a good price. The hours are a little high, so you might want to do a compression test.

Pro Airs are slightly better for wakeboarding than Airs, but their ski wake is not great. You would probably be better served with an Air or Sport than a Pro Air. The hull of the Pro Air is straked and that will effect the ski wake negatively.

You do not indicate whether it is a python or GT-40 engine. That information will affect value, but not really the ride (unless you want to pull multiple barefooters). My Air with GT-40 (the lesser hp of the 2 engines) pulls great for both skiing and wakeboarding.
