Differences between 2008 SANTE 230 and Crossover team 236??

I am purchasing the SANTE 230 2008 model with the ZR6 390 hp and after reading all the literature I can find I still wonder what the differences are between the SANTE 230 and the CrossoverTeam 236? Can anyone explain? Are there differences in the hull, options, anything?
Also are/were there any notable problems with the 2008 SANTE 230 that I need to be aware of? What are the improvements/changes made to the SANTE 230 in 2009 and 2010 other than the LINC, S-Shaped Roswell tower (FCT-3), and the sub moving from the passenger storage to the drivers side behind seat? Also this boat has the dual batteries in the floor and I noticed some models had the batteries in the engine compartment at the front. Why the switch and which battery location is better?
Also I am not sure what the model is of the tower on this boat, can you tell from the pictures?

That is the regular correct craft flight control tower. I have an 07 236 TE and it has that tower and it is solid with an over tower bimin,i spinner racks, and 4 pro 80's on it.My batteries are also in the engine compartment in front of the engine. I have had no problems out of my boat except for a bad fuel pump.(high pressure) There are absolutely no hull differences in the two boats. The only difference was that the 236 TE came with a more crossover stock prop. The 08 230 TE comes with a power prop and a few of the lines in the interior are different between the two. As far as the small differences you mentioned I do not know of any other.

I had an '08 and I now have an '09 230.

The batteries were moved because the zr409 needs the space that the batteries occupied in the engine compartment. I have noticed no difference between my '08 and my '09 other than the tower and sub placement. It's nice to have the sub out of the storage area because it takes up so much less space. Now that I have the fct3 tower and z5 rack, I'd never go back to any other tower. The fct1 is nice, but it does shake and rattle a little - it does have better head room though. The FCT3 doesn't shake at all, but it also doesn't allow you to mount a mirror off of the windshield very easily. I've got mine bungeed to the z5 rack.

You'll be happy either way, but I love my '09 for the tower for sure.

230 ZR-409

I just bought a 08 SANTE 230 and was wondering the same thing about the duel battery location, my 08 is a late year production and has the 409, so the batterys are in the floor, thanks for the info, now I know!

Same boat same options. The only difference is the graphics and the vinyl accents. You cant get the super air graphics on a crossover unless you do it after purchase. The super air comes with the diamond weave vinyl and the crossover comes with the course vinyl. Those are the only differences.

230 Air Dam

My 2008 230 does not have the hinged air dam at the bow walk thru, but it has a heater. This seems like a mistake considering how difficult it is to hold heat with the walk thru open.
I am considering installing the air **** and form the photos I have seen it looks like when installed and open it blocks access to the trash bin, is this correct? If so I’m considering installing slip on hinges so I could just remove and stow it away during warm summer months.
