Have a dealer run a repair history. If you have the reg. number, you could check with the DMV. Just out of curiosity, what is the story with this particular boat? Stolen?
That company has a truck I'm interested in, I should email them about this boat and see what they disclose. Might be a good way to see if they are trustworthy or not.
Yea for sure. I have my old registration as proof that it was the same boat. I wonder if they even know about it or if someone fixed it and traded into them. Man they want a TON of money for the boat its nice but not that nice it had around 900 hours on it when I had it.
Lvnspeed, I only live about a hour from that dealer, sometimes I am in that area. I could go by and chek the boat out and confirm the HIN number. I agree the price on this boat is very high considering the experience the boat has seen. I bought a 2004 sv211 with only 150 hours on it back in august for the same amount with dual axle trailer, and etc....
Thank you for your interest in our Ski Nautique. This boat has some very nice features. It does have a swim platform as well as perfect pass. This is the limited edition so it is the upgraded boat. It is a competition ski tow boat so it does not have a water ballast system onboard. There is no issues with this boat that we know of. We had our tech check it out and everything turned out fine. We have installed the swim platform which is brand new. Also the trailer and cover are brand new. The trailer is a heritage custom built trailer for the ski nautique. The Cover is a custom fit cover that fits this boat perfectly, not some cheap throw over. The interior is in great shape, showing no signs of fading, stains, or seam tears. The ignition is a keyless touchpad which is great for antitheft. The boat has 898.8 hours on it. As far as our bottom dollar is concerned, make me an offer and I'll see if I can do it. Give me a call for more details.
I replied asking if the boat has ever been in accident? We will see there responce....
I think you should tell them after you get the next response back. It will be interesting to hear that response. Being a "marine" dealer in addition to a car dealer, they should be able to tell something happened to the boat. I do not see how everything could be perfect.

I just got off the phone with the dealership, they claim to have no idea that the boat had been sunk. They were told from the person thye got it from it was a bank repo. It was never repoed from me maybe the person who fixed had to finnace it to fix it. He said it had 898 hours on the motor that is really close if not right there where it was when I had it from what I can remember.
