Just bought some fat sacs for my 230

finally got around to getting some fat sacs for my 230. i got 2 of the 750's and a pump at the Houston boat show.

i will probably grab 1 more 750 before all is said and done, but i want to see how this does.

i'm planning on putting 1 750 in the side side locker, 1 750 on the surf side seat, filling the surf side ballast tank and filling the center tank. (with the possibility of adding about 300-400 more in sacs up front).

should be great for some surfing.

FYI, you'll need some weight in the front if you're going to put 2 750's in the back on top of factory ballast.

johnboyy: i'm not sure about any good deals, but there is a TON of stuff out there. pretty much anything you could ask for.

Chatt: the boat is awesome. although, i'll admit, i haven't been able to take it out as much as i would like because i've been working too much. i actually picked up a 3rd 750 sac this afternoon to add some weight in the front. i'm going to try and load it down on Sunday and test out the wake. it is suppose to be 65 for a high on Sunday and sunny, so hopefully i'll get out to the lake.

I can give you some pointers on installing those bags in the back of your 230. I took my hard tanks out of mine and plugged those 750 bags right into the existing plumbing. Works like a champ and gives you a lot more room when empty.

I also added a 1,200 lb bag to the bow. I only fill about 1/2 to 3/4 for surfing.

I was also at the Houston Boat Show. Screens are in... I guess you have to have a screen these days. It just seems to me that water and electronics dont match?? Mastercraft and Malibu were selling on the fact that their screens will plug directly into a DVD player or Wii or PS3? Isn't the whole idea of going out in the boat to be on the water and put all that crap away for the day for the kids?

i may take you up on that sstexan. i'm going to take out the boat and weight it all down to dial in the wake before i install them as an integrated system. i want to make sure the wake is how i want it before i go through the trouble of integrating all the sacks.

So far so good with the '09. I've got a few small warranty issues that need to be addressed. That's all.
