I went to the Atlanta boat show this weekend and I was surprised by the size of the crowd and the number of boats. It was as crowded this year as it has been in any of the previous years. Nautiques had a better presence than the last few years, they had an open bow 200, 210, 226, 230 and an '08 211.
The good:
The 200 was beautiful, priced at a little over 64K without a trailer. (they were negotiating a sale when I was there)
The link system is amazing, clear, high resolution display, easy to use
The new 226 is one of the most functional family boats on the market - I'm sure you can't ski behind it, but for a family boat they did a really nice job
The CBoA booth was more crowded than the Malibu or the MC booth (as a matter of fact when I walked around the MC area there was no one there, and, surprisingly no salespeople either)
The bad:
The 211 on display was priced at 46K with trailer, I can't believe the price as come down so much
