    Supra Launch VS 210

I am in the middle of deciding if I want to purchase a Lauch, or a 210. Does anyone have any experience behind either of them for wakeboarding?

the wake behind both are good, are you looking at the dd launch? this is the first year of the v drive launch. the launch is alot roomier. my buddy has one and its a nice boat. they have really stepped it up in 04. but the san is the ****. but there is a huge price diff between the two.

Wake opinions are VERY subjective and can be night and day difference between riders. What works well for one rider, might not work well for you. Make sure you demo both boats weighted similar to what you are used to. That being said…below is my opinion between an SANTE & Launch.

The wake behind the Launch is wider and takes more weight to build than the SAN. The wake is much less abrupt on the Launch, doesn’t seem to have nearly as much kick, or lip to the top of it as the SAN does. The Launch doesn’t have as deep of a trough you drop into before you hit the wake. When weighted properly, both wakes are very clean.

I’d advise you to do some research on WakeWorld.com. There are tons of members on that site who love the Launch wake and have some pictures of pretty massive wakes behind them. In my opinion, the Launch would come in dead last behind the SANTE, Xstar, and VLX.

Again, I can’t stress enough to demo the boats you are considering weighted the way you usually ride. Odds are you’ll get used to the boat you buy and it will become your favorite. Good luck.
