2001 in movie

Just started watching "Zombieland" and got a kick out of seeing a lmy 2001 balancing on top of a truck on the highway. I can't say I've seen a Nautique in a film before, at least an older one.

I don't know all the 2001 model years so well, so I could be wrong. But, didnt they have two exhausts?

Dual exhaust until '87 when they went to a new muffler system with a single exit. lmy = late model year ('87-'89).

edit: might just be later models with an optional muffler/baffle as I think I have seen some with dual exits

I saw the movie as well and just got "rolling of the eyes" from my girlfriend when I got all excited to see it in the movie.

Yep, I was going to post this today. They glued some fake key tumbler right above the keypad. I'm going............."C'mon.......it doesn't need a key you mental pygmies"! "Oh yeah, it's a movie, and only a Nautique head would notice or care for that matter. They made darn sure NOT to show the side of the boat as to see the lettering on the side. They did show it once, completely covered. It's the remake BTW, about 2-3 years old.

Don't forget that there are a bunch of Ski Nautique 2001's in Police Academy 5 - Assignment Miami Beach. I think there are like 4 or 5 to be found there.

I couldn't find the others but there's a scene of High Tower holding the swim platform of a MC Prostar190 - I can't remember if it was in Police Academy 5 or not. The Police Academy movies have used ski boats a couple of times.

So I have the wifey order the House on the Left this weekend via Netflix. We take it to the cabin to watch with the parents Saturday night after a hard day of Skiing. Well I started getting the looks from everyone after to killing of the first girl and the "you know" of the second. So the mother looks over a said, why would you want to rent this and the wifey said, he told me too. I said, well all my bro's on PN recommended it because there is a Nautique. So we saw the Nautique a couple time until its big seen at the very end.

All disappointed in the flick

I guess I'll try Freaky Friday next time.

I watched Last House On The Left awhile back and saw the key pad too!! I stopped the movie, went back, and explained it to my gf why I was laughing.. She just rolled her eyes and grabbed the remote from me.. :-)
