    Stuffing Box Cover

I have had my share of Nautiqes as well as ordering a new 200. Someone please tell me why the
stuffing box covers on Nautiques are never covered over in carpet. It has always looked so ugly in the boat
and on top of that it becomes very hot being black in the sun!!!! Yes it needs to be there but could they not
sink it lower and carpet it so it is level with the floor!!!! When Correct Craft has asked for suggestions I sent that
idea as well as a few others to them with no changes. They seem to carpet the built-in hull cooler just fine and the battery box on my
    196. Maybe one day they will surprise me or it will turn into an expensive option!!!!!

Hopefully you are talking about the inspection cover on the rear floorboard directly over the shaft packing gland and shaftlog insert.
Their is an option that can be done that is replace the black inspection cover with a grey one. They are not that expensive and look better in the boat.

Yes that is the right cover. Even a gray one looks like crap. I really can't see why they can't design one to match in with the carpet.
Take a look at the Malibu Response and you will see carpet!!!!!!!!
